Whitehorse RCMP seek suspect in Ramada Inn theft

Whitehorse RCMP are seeking a suspect in a break and enter at the Ramada Inn on Labour Day.

Police received a report around 10 p.m. Sept. 1 that a man had broken into a room at the hotel and stolen bags and other items.

Hotel staff say an iPod and a smartphone were taken. 

The man got away before police arrived. The detachment's police dog unit was called in to help with a search but was unsuccessful.
