Accused Watson Lake killer acted alone, RCMP say
Travis Dennis, 22, was charged last week with murder and dismembering a body
Police in Watson Lake are assuring residents there is no further risk to the community, after a gruesome murder discovered a week ago.
Travis Dennis, 22, was arrested and charged last week, a few days after partial human remains were found on an industrial property just outside of town. He's been charged with second degree murder and dismembering a body.

Investigators seek help from people who were on Watson Lake trails last week
"We are confident that the person we have in custody is the sole person that acted in the incident," said RCMP Sgt. Cam Lockwood on Monday.
The court has ordered a ban on publishing the name of the victim, though community members say they know who it is.
Lockwood says police are no longer looking for more human remains. Residents had been seeing investigators scouring a wooded area near the industrial property last week.
Lockwood was at a public meeting over the weekend that was attended by about 125 people. He said people expressed concerns about community safety.
He also said the horrific crime, which happened the same week that a young woman died suddenly in Watson Lake (a death not considered suspicious, according to the coroner), has shaken the community.
"Our community is fairly small. A lot of the community members are related, and then very close," Lockwood said.
"Everything came together, so it was quite stressful."
Trauma support sessions are being offered again this week at Two Mile Hall.
