A Whitehorse business is cleaning broken glass this morning and assessing how much was stolen overnight.

Sylvio Lin of Triniti Technologies on Main St. says "a couple of young kids" broke into the store after 3 a.m.

"They threw two stones into the window and grabbed a few thousand dollars' worth of electronics."

The thieves were captured by a high-definition security camera, Lin says. He thinks he recognizes them based on their clothing, even though they obscured their faces while breaking the glass.

"I had seen them hanging around."

Whitehorse RCMP have a copy of the security footage.
