Search for missing Iqaluit hunter called off

The search for a hunter who went missing near Iqaluit this weekend has been called off.

Officials with Iqaluit Search and Rescue had been seeking volunteers to help with the search Sunday morning. They now say the search is suspended and they are no longer looking for volunteers.

They will not say whether they have found the missing hunter, who did not return home Saturday as planned.

Search officials did not provide any information about the missing hunter.
