Quebec police investigating deadly shooting in Inukjuak
A man was shot during an altercation with the Kativik Regional Police Force in Inukjuak on July 17. He later died from his injuries. The Quebec provincial police are now investigating.

On July 17, a man was shot during an altercation with the Kativik Regional Police Force in Inukjuak.
He later died from his injuries.
Agents from the Sureté du Québec arrived the following day.
According to Quebec law, whenever there is a serious incident involving a police weapon, it must be investigated by a different police force.
Police have not released the name of the man who died.
