Overcast, chance of flurries Wednesday for Baffin Island

Nunavut outlook

Slushy weather will continue for the Kivalliq region today with breezy winds and a mix of rain and snow through the day. 

Further north, light flurries will remain in the western Kitikmeot, while further east in Taloyoak and Kugaaruk, sunny weather is expected.

Baffin Island will remain overcast today with the chance of light flurries through the afternoon. 

N.W.T. outlook

After the heavy snowfall in Inuvik yesterday, the low pressure system in the area will bring a few more centimetres today.

Light snowfall is also in the forecast today for the rest of the Delta region and along the Arctic Coast, with winds breezy near Paulatuk, Sachs Harbour, and Ulukhaktok.

Further south, flurries are expected in the Sahtu and Dehcho.

The Great Slave Lake region will remain sunny with temperatures in the single digits. 

Yukon outlook

Conditions in the Yukon will remain clear today with temperatures just above the freezing mark. 

Warmer weather is expected by the weekend with daily highs near the 10 C mark. 

Snowfall will continue in Old Crow over the next 24 hours with cooler weather in place.
