#MyNorthMyVote: What's your most important federal election issue?
CBC North wants to know what's driving you to the polls this October
The 2015 federal election is on Oct. 19, which means the longest campaign in modern Canadian history is more than half over.
Party leaders and local candidates are canvassing the territories for your votes — delivering their ideas, promises, and attempting to convince you why they would be your ideal representative in Ottawa.
As part of CBC North's ongoing coverage of the 2015 federal election, we want to find out what's important to you.
Are the parties' environmental records driving you to the polls? Concerned about the economy? Let us know — we'll use your feedback in our coverage of the election, investigate the issues you care about and put your questions directly to the candidates.
Join in the conversation by e-mailing us, sending us a Facebook message, or using the hashtag #MyNorthMyVote on social media. Your submission should include:
- Your name
- Your home community
- Your most pressing issue for the 2015 federal election, and a short explanation why
Submissions can be written, or, if you're feeling ambitious, shoot a short home video explaining your issue. You could be featured on our social media platforms, at candidates' forums, and on future editions of Northbeat.
Make your voice heard: it's your North. It's your vote.
