Iqaluit Quickstop armed robbery results in charges for 2 youths

Two youths have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at the Iqaluit KFC/Pizza Hut Quickstop on Sunday.

Two youths have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at the Iqaluit KFC/Pizza Hut Quickstop on Sunday.

Iqaluit RCMP say they got a call about an armed robbery at the store in the 100 block at around 2 p.m. April 12. 

No one was injured and there were no customers in the store at the time.

A short time later, RCMP arrested two youths and recovered a firearm.

The two youths will appear in court today.

The KFC/Pizza Hut Quickstop was previously robbed on April 6 by two people carrying what appeared to be a firearm.
