Hay River's town hall shut due to possible mould
Mayor Andrew Cassidy says lab tests are being done on the ventilation systems and the results are expected in a week's time.
Hay River's Town Hall is closed while the town investigates an air quality issue in the building.
Mayor Andrew Cassidy says the problem was discovered Monday, when the fire chief and the director of public works did a visual examination of some of the air vents and noticed there were potential mould issues.
Cassidy says lab tests are being done on the ventilation systems and the results are expected in a week's time.
In the meantime people needing municipal services can go to the Don Stewart Recreation Centre.
