CBC North holds annual friendship breakfast in Yellowknife

CBC North and the True North Rotary Club brought breakfast to Yellowknifers Thursday morning, in an annual event aimed at breaking down barriers with the city's homeless population.

CBC North and the True North Rotary Club brought breakfast to Yellowknifers Thursday morning, in an annual event aimed at breaking down barriers with the city's homeless population.

The annual Friendship Breakfast took place at Yellowknife's Somba K'e Civic Plaza Thursday.

CBC N.W.T.'s morning radio show, The Trailbreaker, broadcast live from the event with guest host Alyssa Mosher.

The event was an opportunity for Yellowknifers to break bread with each other, and included free breakfast sandwiches and coffee, courtesy of McDonald's.
