RCMP have recovered a man's body from the water near Fort Selkirk, Yukon.
The body was spotted in the river by some people at around noon on Wednesday. Pelly Crossing RCMP launched a boat within a couple of hours and retrieved the body.
Police have not said whether the body was found in the Yukon River or the Pelly River. Fort Selkirk lies at the confluence of the two.
The identity of the deceased man has yet to be confirmed.
Police did not draw a connection to the search for Wilfred Charlie, who went missing last month. His family believes he fell in the Yukon River, near his home in Carmacks.
Police say an autopsy on the body will be conducted on Friday, in Vancouver.
