CBC North launches a 24/7 streaming channel

CBC North is launching a new streaming channel called CBC News North. This new channel will give viewers a new way to access CBC News in their area.

CBC has launched local streaming channels across the country, and we are pleased to say that our streaming channel CBC News North is available now.

The channel offers the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut free, ad-supported streaming TV and a diverse range of content including news, information, entertainment and community-focused programming available 24/7.

Viewers will be able to watch CBC North's flagship TV shows, Northbeat and Igalaaq, as well as select video stories from across the North.

CBC News North focuses on serving communities across the three territories, sharing local stories, breaking news, weather updates and headlines when you need us.

The screen is split into three segments, the largest is the main screen that showcases video of the story currently being covered, the second on the right hand side is a list of locations that include time and temperature, and finally the bottom which holds local headlines.
