The federal minister of Aboriginal Affairs has approved the company's water license for the zinc, lead and slilver mine project
After a five-year environmental assessment process, the company now has all of the necessary permits it needs for the project.
The license is valid for seven years, is the final permit needed for the construction, development and operation of the Prairie Creek Mine.
It's not yet known when the company will begin production or pre-production work.
The proposed Prairie Creek Mine is located in the Nahanni National Park Reserve.
