Body found near Fort Providence ID'd as Rachel Littlejohn
The N.W.T. Coroner's Office says a body found in the Mackenzie River near Fort Providence last Wednesday has been identified as that of Rachel Littlejohn.
The N.W.T. Coroner's Office says a body found in the Mackenzie River near Fort Providence last Wednesday has been identified as that of Rachel Littlejohn.
Littlejohn, 37, of Lakefield, Ont., went missing from Hay River May 31.
Two people from Fort Providence found her body last week near where the Horn and the Mackenzie Rivers meet.
The coroner's office says it has received the preliminary results from an autopsy in Edmonton.
Last week police said the death is not considered to be suspicious.
