Bobby Zoe charged with 2nd break and enter and sexual assault
Yellowknife RCMP have laid more charges against Bobby Zoe in relation to a second sexual assault this month.
Zoe, 34, was charged earlier this week with breaking and entering, sexual assault and failing to comply with a probation order.
Those charges were in relation to a break and enter at a residence in downtown Yellowknife at around 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
In that case, police responded to a call from the occupants who were awakened to find a man in their bedroom. One of the occupants reported they were sexually assaulted. Stolen items were also reported.
Police located Zoe nearby and arrested him.
Police laid new charges Tuesday in relation to an incident that happened Feb. 1. On that Sunday morning at around 6:20 a.m., the occupant of a residence reported a sexual assault and theft of personal items.
Zoe has been charged with breaking and entering, sexual assault, and failing to comply with a probation order.
Last February, Zoe was sentenced to 21 months in jail for breaking into a home in Old Town in October 2013 where a couple and their two teenage daughters were sleeping. That break and enter occurred just days after Zoe was released from jail where he'd been serving time for a sexual assault and attempted robbery on a woman downtown.
