3rd blizzard in 2 weeks forces closures in Iqaluit

A third blizzard in two weeks has once again forced businesses and schools in Iqaluit to close. Here's a full list of closures.

A third blizzard in two weeks has once again forced closures across Iqaluit.

Environment Canada is predicting the storm to last throughout the day with wind gusts of 80 km/h and windchill temperatures of -45 C.

The City of Iqaluit has suspended municipal services, and it's advising people not to venture out in the community.

The Government of Nunavut, which initially told employees its Iqaluit offices were open, are now closed. 

All First Air flights in and out of Iqaluit have been cancelled for the day.

The Qikiqtani General Hospital is open for emergencies only.
