Beverly Villeneuve charged with murder in Ndilo man's death
Police have charged Beverly Villeneuve, 46, with second-degree murder in the death of a man in Ndilo Monday night.
Police have charged a woman with second-degree murder in the death of Archie Paulette in Ndilo Monday night.
Beverly Villeneuve, 46, of Yellowknife, is in police custody and will appear in court today.
Police were called to a home in the Yellowknives Dene First Nation community just after 11 p.m. Monday, where paramedics were treating Paulette, who was critically injured.
Paulette was taken to Stanton Territorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police arrested a suspect at the home.
Paulette's death was later determined to be a homicide.
