Woman killed in single-vehicle crash on Buchans Highway

One woman has been killed following a single-vehicle collision on the Buchans Highway Friday afternoon.

Shortly after 2:15 p.m., Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP responded to an accident in which one driver and two passengers were taken to hospital.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to Grand Falls-Windsor where police said she died as a result of her injuries.

The two passengers were taken to hospital in Buchans and were later released with minor injuries.

RCMP and traffic services are investigating the cause of the collision.
