Jessica Waterman makes cozy-looking wall hangings out of wood
Jessica Waterman has worked as a visual artist, a carpenter and a costume designer — all jobs which require creativity and general handiness.
She has combined her skills to create a unique piece of home decor: wooden wall hangings with a quilt-like construction and look.
"Textiles and carpentry are very similar," said Waterman.
"You have a plan, and then you have materials that you cut, and then you assemble them, and then you have a finished product."
"I like bringing the skills I've learned from each together."
