Amelia Curran says her work as an advocate for mental health care reform, plus polarizing world politics, inspired the songs she has created on Watershed, her latest album.

Amelia Curran says her work as an advocate for mental health care reform and polarizing politics worldwide weighed heavy on her mind when she created the songs for Watershed, her latest album. 

"This is an activist record to me."

"I'm writing the same way I've always written, just about humanity," said Curran.

"And how we are there or not there for one another."

Curran added, "This time, it's just far more intentional."
