Friday

The Music of Merle Haggard – Poet of the Common Man. Join Chris Ledrew, Bob MacDonald, Craig Young, Sandy Morris, Brian Way and Scott Mansfield at the Arts and Culture Centre for one night only, at 8 p.m.

Welcome Bach! – The NSO Sinfonia presents Mary O’Keefe on harpsichord with music by Cardy, Dvorak and Mr. Bach. At the D.F. Cook Recital Hall at Memorial University's main campus in St. John's, at 8 p.m.

Revue 2014 - It's the yearly send-up of all things political, and Rising Tide Theatre has loads of fodder this year: falling oil prices, rotting whales, floor-crossing politicians and flying Jamaican nurses.
