3 people killed in crash on Veterans Memorial Highway
Bay Roberts RCMP say three people died in a head-on collision Monday on the Veterans Memorial Highway, with a fourth person taken to hospital for treatment.

Three people are dead following a head-on collision Monday on Veterans Memorial Highway.
A fourth person has been taken to hospital for treatment, according to Bay Roberts RCMP.
The accident happened around noon, and the section of highway from Makinsons to Roaches Line was closed for several hours.
Police reopened the road just after 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Veteran's Mem Highway has been closed between Roaches Line and Makinsons. Police /Emergency responders are responding to a serious crash.

A collision analyst and other RCMP officers had also been on the scene.
