A Jiffy cab erupted into flames around 9:30 p.m., following a single-vehicle crash near the overpass at the Southlands subdivision.
There is no word on whether the female driver sustained injuries.
Later, a City Wide cab was involved in a collision on Pitts Memorial Drive, causing the vehicle to roll over onto its roof.
There is no word on whether injuries were sustained in that accident.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary continues to investigate both incidents.
