The City of St. John's is looking for public input on what needs to be in its 2017 budget.
In a statement released Tuesday, the city said it's launching its online engagement portal, as the first phase of a consultation process.
The forum will be open until late September.
The City said it will announce in the fall dates for public engagement sessions in each ward. The 2017 budget will be one of the topics discussed.
"A 'what we heard' document will be released in the fall to close the loop on the budget engagement process," the city said in a release.
This public engagement is part of the process outlined in the city's March 2016 operating budget guidelines.
Dates for the upcoming public consultations will be posted on the city's website.
