St. John's escapee Earle found
Jason Daniel Earle, an eighteen-year-old who escaped from justice department officials more than a week ago, has been picked up by police, CBC News has learned.

He was arrested by the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary late Monday afternoon.
The RNC said Earle was caught in a controlled stop on the Manuels Access Road in the Conception Bay South area, near St. John's.
Earle escaped from justice department officials on Oct. 29 during a transfer outside the youth detention centre in St. John's.
He fled on foot.
His father, Bill Earle, told CBC News he is relieved that Jason was picked up safely.
