A couple of foxes regularly spotted by visitors on Signal Hill in St. John's will soon discover themselves in a new home, after they are relocated by Parks Canada staff.

Crews will be closing Signal Hill to public early Thursday morning to remove the foxes frequently spotted at the site.

In a release on Wednesday, Parks Canada said it will close the hill from 6-9 a.m. to "carry out humane wildlife removal and relocation operations."

Vehicles will not be allowed to access the uppermost parking lot, but visitors will still be able to park near the Visitor Centre.
