Everyone knows Santa Claus drives his sleigh, steering reindeer across the globe to deliver gifts on Christmas Day.

But in St. John's, Santa was busy in the days leading up to Christmas delivering people to their destinations in his cab.

When he was asked how he can be driving a taxi in St. John's one day, and at the North Pole getting ready to deliver presents the next, Santa had a foolproof response.

"I can be up there in seconds. I've got magic powers," he said. "Touch my nose and I can go where I want to go."

This Santa is actually Bugden's taxi driver Jim Clarke, who's been a driver in St. John's for 45 years.
