Poker, 17, was last seen on Feb. 15.
The remains were found on Wednesday morning when a private plane spotted a body about 18 nautical miles — or roughly 33 kilometres — southeast of Davis Inlet.
A report from the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed to police Monday that Poker died from hypothermia.
Police said no signs of foul play were found during the examination.
