Philip Pynn sentencing hearing set for February
A sentencing hearing on how much time Philip Pynn should serve for the shooting death of his friend Nick Winsor will be held in the New Year.
A sentencing hearing on how much prison time Philip Pynn should serve for the shooting death of his friend Nick Winsor will be held in the New Year.
The Supreme Court set dates for Feb. 18 through Feb. 20 for arguments at the sentencing hearing.
A jury found Pynn guilty of manslaughter on Nov. 6 in the shooting death of Nick Winsor.
Pynn was also found guilty of assault, assault with a weapon and possessing a weapon dangerous to the public.
The eight-woman, four-man jury him found not guilty of robbery and not guilty of attempted murder.
Lyndon Butler, who was charged in the same incident in 2011, was acquitted on all charges.
