People bear sprayed on George Street

Several people reported being sprayed with bear spray on George Street in St. John's early Sunday morning.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said it happened outside a club around 1:30 a.m.

Police said there were no serious injuries.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
