Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officials are looking for the public's help after an armed robber in Conception Bay South made off with a bounty of cash and drugs.

Police said they responded to a robbery at Green's Drug Mart at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

They said an armed man entered the store with his face concealed and demanded drugs and cash, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and a large quantity of oxycodone, morphine and fentanyl.

RNC officials said the drugs may be dangerous if abused.

The man was last seen getting into a brown van which headed east on the Conception Bay Highway and is being described as about 5' 7" tall and 150 pounds. He's believed to be in his late 20's or early 30's.
