Dwight Ball, Paul Davis and Earle McCurdy took time on Monday to cast their own ballots in the provincial election

As residents of Newfoundland and Labrador head to the polls for the second time this fall, some are remarking on the short wait times.

Although the final turnout isn't known, and not everyone has made it out to their polling stations yet, others who ventured out earlier in the day said they weren't exactly battling crowds to cast their ballot.

Over 21,000 people across the province took the opportunity to vote in advance polls on Nov. 23.

Candidates running in the election got out earlier in the day to cast their own ballots.
