Newfoundlander Luke Adam traded to Columbus Bluejackets

The 24-year-old from St. John's, will soon be wearing a new NHL uniform.

A Newfoundlander who's played in the NHL will soon be wearing a new uniform.

Luke Adam has been traded from the Buffalo Sabres organization to the Columbus Bluejackets in exchange for forward Jerry D'Amigo

The 24-year-old from St. John's has posted 15 goals and 11 assists in his 87 career NHL games.

As well, he has played 237 career games in the AHL, playing with the Portland Pirates and Rochester Americans.

Adam is being assigned to the Blue Jacket's AHL affiliate, the Springfield Falcons.
