New Nunatsiavut cultural centre in Labrador

Construction of the Nunatsiavut cultural centre in Labrador will begin this year.

The Nunatsiavut Assembly approved extra funding for the project last week.

Site work has been completed in Nain for the facility, and the government said the next step will be to call tenders.

The centre will highlight Inuit culture, history and achievements.
