The Canadian Union of Public Employees said Tuesday its 46 members with St. John's Sports and Entertainment have ratified the contract, which will raise wages by more than 16 per cent over the life of the deal.
CUPE represents ticket sellers, office staff, maintenance workers and other employees at Mile One.
The contract, which is retroactive to July, includes raises of 4.5 per cent in each of the first two years, and raises of 3.5 per cent in each of the final two years.
National representative Ed White said 86 per cent of members voted for the deal, which was reached with the help of a conciliator.
