Lydia the great white shark tracks back to Newfoundland waters
A great white shark named Lydia that was tracked last year swimming in Newfoundland's Placentia Bay is making its way back to waters off the island's coast.
Ocearch, a non-profit research organization, first caught and tagged the shark for research purposes off the coast of Florida in March 2013 and named it Lydia.
The shark, which has been observed travelling across the Atlantic Ocean, even has its own Twitter account.
Ocearch's tracking software shows that Lydia has been moving closer to Newfoundland.

Researchers believe the large seal population may be what attracts the sharks to the area, but they say there's still too much unknown about them to know for sure.
In 2013, Lydia stayed in the waters around southern Newfoundland for about a week.
