Longer wait for X-rays in Gander

Patients will have to wait longer for an X-ray in Central Newfoundland. The James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander is replacing x-ray equipment to upgrade services.

Patients will have to wait longer for an x-ray in Central Newfoundland.

The James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander is replacing X-ray equipment to upgrade its X-ray services.

The delay will only affect routine X-rays and is expected to last until November 20.

Priority will be given to emergencies and patients admitted to the hospital or attending a hospital clinic. 

Other diagnostic imaging appointments for CT scans, Ultrasound, Mammography and MRI will go ahead as scheduled.
