Leatherback turtle spotted near Isle aux Morts

An endangered sea turtle was spotted swimming near Isle aux Morts over the weekend.

Leatherback turtles aren't often spotted near Newfoundland and Labrador.

Faron Herritt spotted the turtle while out on the water during Sunday's food fishery.
