The Mummers Show: Relax with a Christmas tradition from Land & Sea

What's Christmas without mummers?

Since 1986, this episode has been an annual tradition for countless families

It first aired in January 1986, and it's not actually called the Mummers Show.

Well, formally, anyway.

One of Land & Sea's most iconic episodes is titled A Fortune Bay Christmas, reflecting where it had been filmed.

The Mummers Show, as everyone has long called it, has been a tradition every year since, and it seems to grow continuously.

Whether you're seeing it for the first time or enjoying a visit with old friends, we're delighted to bring you the story of mummering, Simani, songs and good cheer.

Enjoy.
