Coming off an appearance at the Grand Prix Final in France, figure skater Katelyn Osmond says she's looking forward to taking the ice for the Canadian Championships in Ottawa this week.

The 21-year-old finished just short of a medal at the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final in France a month ago.

Osmond was the first Canadian woman to qualify for the event since Joannie Rochette in 2009.

Her season is going far better then it did in 2014, when a broken leg sidelined her, threatening her career.
