RNC, RCMP arrest 6 people for impaired driving over the weekend

Police arrested six people over the weekend for impaired driving, including one woman accused of hitting two taxis in the George Street area.

Police on the Avalon Peninsula were kept busy with impaired drivers over the weekend.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary arrested six people for impaired driving.

One of those is a woman accused of hitting two taxis in the George Street area of St. John's.

Meanwhile, RCMP in Holyrood say they stopped two impaired drivers who had open liquor in their vehicles.
