Police say three more people have been charged after a robbery at a Holyrood bank in December.

The three men, a 33-year-old, 38-year-old and 49-year-old, all face charges of break and enter, theft over $5,000 and mischief over $5,000, according to a news release from the RCMP on Wednesday.

Two other people were previously charged in connection to the robbery.

Police says the three men were found on Dec. 16 when they were pulled over in a pickup truck following the robbery.

The bank was robbed using a backhoe, which pulled an ATM from inside and loaded it into a dump truck. Police believe the pickup truck was also used in the robbery.

The trio are expected to appear in court on March 4.
