Hibernia Management and Development Company (HMDC) continues to investigate what it calls a "high potential near miss" that occurred on the Hibernia platform last weekend.
In a written statement, Hibernia officials said four people were working on the GBS roof slab on Sunday, when two sequential waves came over the edge of the slab.
Two of the workers lost their footing and fell.
One of the workers sustained minor abrasions to their left hand, although no treatment was required.
Officials said all the workers were wearing immersion suits at the time of the incident.
The Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board is following up with HMDC regarding the matter.
