Graham Letto takes Liberal nomination for Labrador West

A former mayor of Labrador City has beaten the current mayor to win the Liberal nomination in Labrador West.

A former mayor of Labrador City has beaten the current mayor to win the Liberal nomination in Labrador West.

The Liberal party of Newfoundland and Labrador announced that Graham Letto was the winner of the nomination race. 

Karen Oldford, the current mayor of Labrador City, and Lindo Watkins had also competed for the nomination. 

Letto has run in the past for the Tories, but he's been working with the Liberals over the past couple of years.

The Newfoundland and Labrador election will take place Nov. 30.
