Fire doused at Corner Brook Pulp and Paper mill

Firefighters in Corner Brook were called in to help put out a fire at the city's newsprint mill on Tuesday morning. 

Corner Brook Pulp and Paper's fire brigade called their colleagues after equipment used to remove bark from logs caught on fire. 

Both fire departments were able to douse the flames and get the situation under control.

There was no immediate word on the extent of damage.
