Fire reported at Come by Chance refinery

A "small" fire broke out at the Come by Chance refinery on Friday morning, North Atlantic says.

The company says the fire was on a caustic tank at the refinery, and started at about 11:15 a.m. but was quickly contained. 

The company said there were no injuries, nor any immediate impact on operations.

"A team has been established and an investigation is underway," said Gloria Warren Slade, a spokesperson for the refinery, in a statement emailed Friday afternoon.
