Expect more military traffic in Labrador for Norad exercise

The North American Aerospace Defence Command issued a release stating the 5 Wing Goose Bay base will have more traffic from Oct. 15 to 26.
Security in the base will be reinforced, and the public should also expect to see flights off the coast near Rigolet as part of training exercises.
The 5 Wing is one of two locations hosting flying training exercises with Norad.
There will be about 580 participants from the Canadian Armed Forces and the United States Armed Forces in the community for the duration of training.
