Torbay high school opens doors to students to help cope with Flatrock drowning

The Torbay high school attended by the teenager who drowned in Flatrock on Tuesday is opening its doors Thursday to help grieving students.
Holy Trinity High announced Wednesday evening that it would be opening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for any student who wanted to come in, and would make guidance and crisis intervention services available to them.
Holy Trinity Level II student Zachary Knee, 16, drowned Tuesday in a swimming hole in Flatrock's Big River. Flatrock residents have said the river has several swimming areas and is a popular destination in the summer but has seen several deaths and close calls over the years.
The Town of Flatrock also invitied anyone who witnessed the drowning to come to a stress-management session Wednesday evening. The event was not open to the general public.
