Members of the local media in St. John's were invited to 'Dining in the Dark' last week, an event promoting vision health.
Members of the local media in St. John's were invited to Dining in the Dark last week, an event promoting vision health.
The CNIB held the lunch at the Gypsy Tea Room, providing each person with a blindfold to wear while they tried to eat their meal.
The event's objective was to give a better understanding of what the blind or partially-sighted community live every day.
CBC's Krissy Holmes took part in the event, and said she found the task at hand surprisingly difficult.
