Funding split between federal, provincial governments
Corner Brook's College of the North Atlantic campus is getting a $4.3-million boost from the federal and provincial governments.
The joint funding was announced Tuesday by Long Range Mountains MP Gudie Hutchings and Corner Brook MHA Gerry Byrne.
Half of the $4.3 million is coming from the federal government, through the Post-Secondary Institutions Strategic Investment Fund.
The government of Newfoundland and Labrador is providing the remainder of the funding.
The money will go towards the first phase of CNA's campus revitalization, including enhancing its Centre for Energy and Thermal Systems.
